| | Model of the car: | Mazda MPV | | | General comments: | About bad sulphur smell, I had the same problem with my 1993 Honda Civic Si. After a lot of trial and error, I found out that it was the brand of gas I was using. If I used a tank of Esso gas, the sulphur smell was horrifying. If I switched to Petro Canada, Sunoco or Shell, the smell disappeared after a few tanks of gas. A study later came out in the news papers indicating that Esso had high concentrations of polluting chemicals and caused the sulphur smell. Maybe the cure to your smelly exhaust may be as easy as switching to a cleaner gas for a few tanks. Hopefully, this helps. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Base model is bare bones.
