| | Model of the car: | Mazda MPV | | | General comments: | I paid $35,000 CDN for a fully loaded model. It fits my needs well because occasionally I need lots of interior space for hauling trees and equipment, or carrying extra people etc, and the seats move easily and create a huge space. I need a 4WD for my back country property and it has lots of ground clearance. The issue of a hard, noisy, underpowered ride is fatal though. I love all it's features, but these are always in your face. This unfortunately will be the first and last MPV I'll ever buy. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Harsh ride! can shake your fillings out sometimes, wish 3.0l engine was 3.8 like Windstar, labors going uphill and has to kickdown to lower gear, wind noise, mediocre fuel mileage | | | Previous car: | Replaced a Ford Windstar, better trailer pulling and 4WD but poorer ride and comfort, better serious 4WD than other SUVs but with WAY better seating and interior space options, smaller "Feel", feels substantial comparted to rinky dink CRV and RAV4 which s |
